We went sledding at a park near our house. Elle shocked us when she told us she wanted to go all by her self. We tried to explain that it was a big hill and that she would go fast. She insisted and took off! Nik was sprinting to keep up. Her face was pure panic the entire way down. So she gets to the bottom and tells us she wants to do it again all by herself. This time, half way down she hits a bump and crashes. Literally tumbling down the hill. I truly wish I had it on video. From than on she only wanted to go from half way up the hill. WE LOVE SEEING NIK!!!
Our little Elle who was afraid of everything and never wanted to do anything (except play dress up) all the sudden has no fear! She loves to ice skate, go figure.
So no comments on the size 12 month snow suit or the back of a very pregnant mama because this girl LOVED skiing:) And seriously, who doesn't learn to ski down the driveway.

how fun. i can't believe how much snow you have! i'm glad we don't have snow like that. :) are you enjoying ny? when do you think your baby is going to come?
so fun! Noah would be so jealous. We had 1 inch here. It barely covered the ground but we made the best of it. We sledded down the hill by the trampoline, had a snow ball fight, and built a tiny snowman. He would think he was in heaven up there. Elle is too cute in her snow gear. Please blog one picture of your belly before baby comes. Miss y'all and best of luck!!!
I love the skiing down the driveway. Who needs a ski resort? Brilliant idea!! You don't even look prego in that shot from the back. I get a little weepy seeing pictures of you. We miss you guys like crazy!!
You guys look like you are having so much fun! I am glad that you like Albany, but we miss you here! I have to agree with Jenny and Kaye - I would like to see a pic of you with your belly before your little one is born - you don't even look pregnant from behind.
So Fun! I am so excited for you to have a little boy. We hope Jake gets a brother... one day.
We can't wait for you guys to get here in March. Looks like Elle will be ready for some serious skiing with Katie. Just to ditto everyone else, you look GREAT!!! I don't know what you're talking about being huge. I hope you have a great labor experience this time. Let us know when the little guy arrives!
