we had a really sick birthday boy

and a sick sister who got a big bonk on her head but was really happy because she got to make Valentines


I was so impressed with her. I thought I would be walking her through each step. She grabbed the glue stick and started shouting orders "Mom, I need another pink bird. Now a heart out of that paper. A bigger one. Another bird out of that pink." Art director or fashion designer? I guess only time will tell. Which reminds me, I need to share some of her art work. Most children draw butterfly's and rainbows, mine draws ballgowns, skirts and accessories.


Today was not the greatest day to have a birthday. Lots of crying, lots of needed hugs and snuggling, lots of fighting due to not feeling well, no wanted treats or singing, daddy on call but Grandpa Eriksen saved the day. We received a package about a week ago for Gray. The box has been sitting next to the door. When no one wanted cookies I announced it was time to open the present (the only present, this mama didn't get a chance to shop with all these sick kiddos) and everyone was excited. Thank you Grandpa Eriksen:)
