something magical

There is just something magical about little kids. I used to think it was little girls but after a good snuggle and laugh with my boy I realize it is all kids. It amazes me how much they love one another and all those around them. Don't get me wrong, they definitely have their disagreements (to say the least) but they love to play with one another. They love to hug, kiss, dance, wrestle, sing, tell each other "silly" jokes, read books, collect things, share things, tell me when someone else is sad or hurt, chase, hide, pretend, yell and laugh together. They look out for one another and keep each other busy. They make my life and their own magical. I love being sung to while I get to watch a dance performance, mean while Gray is in the middle of it all thinking he is a part of it.
If only as adults we could act like children. Laugh at things that don't really matter, cry when those around us are sad, comfort when we ourselves are hurt, play with anyone we meet, forgive and forget instantly, sing and dance all day long dressed as if we were going to a ball.

You put it into words so well. We adults are so boring! I am also glad that we have children to remind us to really enjoy life and each other.
