The story begins last night. I am incharge of bringing the snack today for Elles school. I am never prepared and had to go out the night before to pick one up. I have no self discipline after the hour of eight. I buy things that we definitely don't need (walmart will do that to you). I saw some gingerbread men for sale. Not only were they ginger bread men but woman and children. I thought my girls would love them!
So this morning the girls went down stairs as I was getting Gray out of bed and dressed. I went down stairs only to find both girls behind the couch, cookies spewed all over the carpet with the beginnings of two equal piles, one in front of each of them, mouths full. I would have taken a picture but I was quickly trying to get them off of the floor and away from tightly gripped hands.
I was right they LOVED them.
After I picked them up I made breakfast for them which shockingly was not eaten. After breakfast this was the conversation between Elle and I. Elle "Mom, can I have a piece of candy?" Me "Absolutely not you had plenty of cookies". Elle "But mom, candy isn't cookies". Me "I know but they are both bad for you". Elle "Then WHY did you buy them".
