The poor boy needs a break. It is 12:40am. The poor boy just fell asleep. He has been crying for the past hour and a half. I am about ready to yank those teeth down myself. Seriously, he is eight months, getting in his fifth and sixth (see picture) teeth. Does anyone else loose sleep over this?

charlie just got his top front two and his bottom 2 came in months ago. the top really bled when they came through. i found that motrin works wonders. for the 3 or 4 nights that they were really poking i gave him 1 dose before bed and he slept like he usually does for 12 hours or so.
Brooke this is the story of my life! Sleep, or lack thereof, has been a big issue in our house as of late. I give teething tablets and put numbing gel on the gums. That seems to work. I also give a little motrin as well. It doesn't always keep Luke asleep all night long but it gives me some peace of mind that he will be comfortable for a while. Don't you just hate when those teeth seem to come all at the same time! I consider it a blessing and a curse in a way. At least were getting it all over with at one time. Good luck!!!
Yay! Holy crap I had one who's teeth came in at 8months and one who's teeth are slowly coming in still..kill me. Poor guy, I should have known about motrin but I didn't. ora-gel and no binky's helped. but really just waiting for it to pass.

I soooo feel for you. Joey is on number 7 and 8. We too are suffering the crying, clinginess, and sleeplessness. (wow! that was a lot of nesses!)I'm beginning to wonder if it is a boy thing. I'm sure Katie didn't have this many this early. I guess a couple bad weeks is better than a couple days each month. At least, that's what I keep telling myself.
Oh, and the clothing thing about Elle cracks me up. She and Katie would get along great right now. Today Katie was wearing a Halloween shirt that is a 2t. It showcases her belly and hip bones so well...fun times.
