Seriously, it's like living with a fashion designer. It used to be a fight every morning about what she was going to wear. She loves to wear Kate's cloths, so on a typical freezing day she will walk down with a short sleeve, belly showing t-shirt and booty shorts. So we now have a rule, Mom picks out her cloths on school days and she can on the other days. I do have to add that on school days as soon as she gets home, the first thing she does is goes straight to her room and changes.
A few stories going along with this theme...
On Friday at her ice skating lesson her teacher came up to me and asked if next time I could put her in some sweat pants or snow pants since she looked freezing. I asked politely if she could mention that to Elle (who was shivering on the ice in her thin jeans). I see the teacher at the end of class tell Elle to wear something a bit warmer next time. My shy little girl who didn't dare say a word just started shaking her head in disagreement. When we got out of reach from the teachers ears I started hearing it. "Mom, I am not going to wear sweat pants, I am going to wear jeans. I am not cold." and on and on.
Last Sunday I wore a new fabulous dress (thanks to my amazing neighbor). I got dressed. Elle saw me. "I wish that dress was my size. Wow, that is so pretty, I wish that fit me. I want a dress like that mom. You are so lucky to have that dress. etc" We visited aunt Ashley this weekend (You totally ROCK) and she did the same thing to her.
So tonight she disappeared into her room for awhile and came down ecstatic. Mom, come see the outfit I picked out (over and over and over). After we finished getting diapers changed we went to see and well you can see it on her face. She lives for this stuff. Yes, she is three.

I love your family!
If she's like this at three just wait until she's 16!!! I love it! Thanks for your comment on my blog. I'm so jealous you got to see Ash and Mas. I can't wait for them to come to Utah for Thanksgiving. I've been going crazy not seeing them for the past couple months! How far away are you guys from them?
Brooke!!!! You made my day, so glad to be in touch. First of all, your family is so beautiful,no big surprise. Once I started reading your blog I couldn't stop, I nearly made it to your first entry. I wish we lived closer because I would love to feed off of your motivation to get in top physical shape and also because Sophia and Elle seem to have the same passion for fashion. I was dying! Yesterday she walked out of her room and I was amazed at her outfit. The conversation went like this "wow Sophia, that looks fantastic, why haven't I thought to put that together?" "well mom, I decided to wear layers today now I need to go upstairs and help dad pick something out for work." This summer she gave me a lecture on accessorizing. I'm half impressed and half paralized with fear. Hope your well, enjoy the Holidays!! Miss you-hannah
You know, growing up to be just like you wouldn't be such a bad thing. :)
Just blog hopped over here and had to comment!
That's so funny! If she's that obsessed at 3 I worry for 16...
As a matter of fact, the tradition continues. Grandma Price says from the time I was 2 or 3 I was very opinionated about my clothes and I was constantly changing them. You were the same way. It's nice to see Elle is the third generation :)
That's my girl...just like Auntie Bella (you know that's what they're suppossed to call me right?)
