So I have had so many people in my life lately that have seriously motivated me. To name a few: My dad eats canned corn for a treat, my mom has cut out all treats, two of my brothers have changed their way of life, eating totally different (this summer one lost 40 pounds, the other 10), and my sister in law had a baby and after giving birth started running 7 miles a day plus an hour of boot camp (her bod is rock solid). And is it just me or is the world doing triathlons! So I am going to try and jump in on the fun. More because I am totally lacking in energy and really want and need more. All people out there who eat healthy tell me that their level of energy goes up when they do. So here I go. Wish me luck!
My new motto Treat your body well and your body will treat you well. So in an effort to help all of you, I am going to post a new set of exercises each week. I am doing this specifically for a few of you (yes, you know who you are) but please try them out. Let me know what you think of them. That requires leaving a comment.
The BUTT workout:
Up on hands and knees, back flat
Take one leg strait up and down (16)
Taking that same leg and bending it at the knee, up and down (16) then pulse (8)
Keeping the leg up, bend the knee and straighten (16)
Taking that knee down to the other and lifting it out to the side, in and out (16)
Leg still out to the side bend it and straighten it (I tell people in my class to pretend there is a dog under that leg, so don't kick it!) (16)
Same leg hold out straight to the side of you, point toe, and taking it up and down (16)
Now taking that knee down to the other and making circles, out and around (16
Switch directions (16)
DO THE OTHER SIDE
Hopefully that all made sense. Let me know if not, maybe next weeks can include pictures.
If new to exercise and 16 is to much than begin with 8 and increase when you feel your body can do more.

Guys I get it, I'm your "Fat" friend but can you imagine a world with a lean Matt Jones that is not a world I want to live in. I'm not nearly as funny when I'm thin just ask my 2nd grade teacher that was the last time I was considered thin. Reese can't wait to meet the girls and she especially has her eyes on Grey.
I personally would like to see a video.
I am sore just visualizing the pain in my buttock! So I guess I will follow dr. orders and take it easy:)

Brooke, as much as I desire a pre-baby body, I will probably not be approaching "firm" anytime soon!! Please post again soon however so that I can live vicariously through my imagination. Also, I think you should open an ETSY shop with your jewelry, I loved that silver bracelet with the pink pearl! Miss you friend!!
Okay, so I relaize this is on a workout post, but my sister needs a pumpkin recipe for young women's and I thought of you saying how easy some pumpkin cookies were with pumpkin and cake mix? Do you have the recipe? If you do, I would love to have it. And I'll make sure she takes the recipe for firmer behind while she's at it :) Too bad we don't live close so I could come to your workout sessions. I am in need of serious motivation here! Living wiht your mom means you eat a little too well/or not well at all, however you want to look at it.
